Cultural Readiness
Cultural Readiness Assessment
Purpose
Moving beyond acknowledgement
Many organisations have made commitments to reconciliation. The harder part is turning those commitments into everyday practice. The assessment shows where commitment is strong, where friction is holding progress back, and what will help change last.
It is a structured self-assessment, not a test. Results are a starting point for honest conversation and practical action.

Individual participation
24 statements about your own practice
Anyone can take the individual assessment on their own, or as part of their organisation's campaign. It takes around 15 minutes, one pillar at a time, and saves automatically so you can come back later.
Organisational participation
16 statements about your organisation
Organisations invite staff to a campaign. A nominated assessment lead also completes a separate organisational assessment, with explanations and supporting evidence that A‑Traction can review.
Reports
What you receive
Personal report
Your four pillar scores, your development stage, strengths, three priority actions and space for private reflection. Downloadable as a PDF.
Organisational report
Aggregated staff results, the organisation's self-reported readiness with evidence review status, differences worth discussing, completion rates and three organisational priorities. Staff and organisational scores are always shown separately.
Confidentiality
How grouped reporting works
Your personal responses and scores are private to you. Your organisation receives grouped results where there are enough participants to protect confidentiality. Organisation administrators can see whether you have completed the assessment.
- Organisation reporting is aggregated, not anonymous, because participants have accounts.
- Staff results only appear where at least five people have completed. This applies to every team, chart and download, and small groups cannot be worked out by subtracting one total from another.
- Individual comments and private reflections never appear in organisation reports.
- We only ask for your name and email. You are not asked about your identity or background.
- Evidence documents are visible only to authorised people in your organisation and assigned A‑Traction reviewers.
